  • Y6 working with our secondary partners

    On Friday, a group of Y6 pupils from The Parks visited Sirius North, along with pupils from other local primary schools. They spend the day working on very challegning English and Maths objectives, designed to stretch the most able.

    Pupils had a great day. We look forward to forging very strong links across the curriculum with our partners from Sirius North.

    What a fantastic week it's been so far! Pupils have been working hard at school and at home, learning much about this important subject. Yesterday we had a fantastic turnout for the workshop and today we look forward to having our BLUE DAY!   • Anti-Bullying Week

    Next week is Anti-Bullying week.


    This year we have decided to bring forward Anti-Bullying week at the academy so that we can have a specific e-safety week during November.

    There will be so many things happening at the academy.

    Parents and Carers are invited to assemblies on Monday and Friday, and there will be an anti-bullying parents' workshop on Thursday. Please let us know if you are coming to the workshop so that we can prepare the right space and resources.

  • School Disco 19th October

    7th October 2016

    FS2/KS1- 3:15-4:15 Tickets cost £1.50 and include a treat bag. F2/KS1 can bring costumes to school and get changed at school so there will be no need to collect your child until the end of the disco.

    KS2 4:30-5:45 Tickets cost £1 and a snack stall will be there for children to buy sweets and treats.

    Beginning our next round of improvements we have 

    • opened up both sides of the main gates in the morning and afternoon
    • Ordered a big sign for EYFS
    • Begun to update a who's who on this website, starting with safeguarding
    • EAB parent members have redrafted the home/school agreement and submitted to the academy for appraisal
