Planned Absences During Term Time

Following recent government legislation changes the Academy no longer authorises holidays during term time, unless there are exceptional circumstances. 

If you intend to take your child out of school for a holiday in term time you must complete a planned absence form (available at the front office or download below). This written request will be responded to in writing by the Head of Academy. Please note - authorisation of term time absence is extremely rare. 

If the Academy does not authorise the absence it will always notify the Education Welfare Service.
