At The Parks Academy, we believe that leadership is an important skill for pupils to acquire. We are very proud that we have leading pupils. Our leading pupils are mostly in Year 6 in the form of Head Boy/Girl, Deputy Head Boy/Girl and Prefects. In addition to this, we have an Academy Council. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 are represented by an elected councillor at weekly Academy Council meetings.

Pupils are also delegated key roles such as running our reward shop. This encourages children to take ownership of our school as a collective enterprise, which we all contribute to and try to improve.

Our Reading Leaders help with reading throughout the academy.
